The Seiryuu no Miko & her Celestial Warriors. In this series, they are the bad guys, for they are the Suzaku Seishi's enemies.

Seiryuu no Miko - The Priestess - Yui

Yui is Miaka's best friend, who is an ace student with good grades and a bright future. Unfortunately, she was accidentally transported into the book, and suffered. She was willing to forgive Miaka for not knowing what had happened to her when she first arrived in the book, but she overheard Miaka's declaration to Tamahome that she had come back because of HIM (not her). She could not believe her ears, for she and Miaka had known each other since kindergarten, and Miaka came back for someone she hardly knew!! This hurt and anger was then used by Nakago to turn her against Miaka, by accepting her duty as the Priestess of Seiryuu. Yui is actually a nice person, but was ruined by her emotions (and also by Nakago). She also fell for Tamahome, and even took him away from Miaka by making him forget about her with poison. Yui is not evil, she just wants to stop Miaka from being with Tamahome. That's because she's afraid that Tamahome will replace her in Miaka's heart. Most of her actions were to stop Miaka from summoning Suzaku to be with Tamahome.

Celestial Warrior - Nakago

Nakago is actually the real BAD guy, the one who came up with lots of schemes to destroy the Suzaku Seishi. He is the general of the Kutou Empire, and is very influential. He had a horrible past, coming from a hated tribe and losing his family at a very young age. He grew up craving for power, and he sees Yui as his only means to get such power. He is emotionless and uses other people for his own sake. He has the heart mark (ironic, for a heartless person like him) or on his forehead. He has extraordinary powers, very close to being invincible (actually...I think he is). He can cast powerful barriers, has power blasts, and can walk through walls. Very cool guy (not as in oh so cool...but more like very calm and cool). Soi, another warrior, is helplessly in love with him, but has her feelings ignored by Nakago (although I think deep deep down inside...he does love her).

Celestial Warrior - Amiboshi

Amiboshi is the elder brother of the twins in the Seiryuu Seishi. At first he impersonated Chiriko (whom at that time was still undiscovered) so that he can destroy the Suzaku people when they were about to summon Suzaku. Thankfully, the plan was foiled, and Amiboshi was chased down by Tamahome & Tasuki. But Miaka wanted to spare his life, and this changed Amiboshi, who realized that what he had been doing was wrong. He is a kind-hearted person, very different from the rest of his comrades, and dislikes war. He bears the mark. His special ability is in his music. He blows a flute, and can manipulate people's emotions and life force with the music. He likes Miaka too...

Celestial Warrior - Suboshi

Suboshi is the younger twin brother of Amiboshi. Unlike his nice brother, he is impulsive and cruel. His special ability is telekinesis, where he controls his Meteor Balls, and can cause massive destruction with them. He can also communicate with his brother by writing on his skin. The same message will appear on Amiboshi's skin, and vice versa. He cares about his brother and Yui a lot, that he is willing to do anything for them. He is madly in love with Yui, but Yui only thinks of him as a friend. He bears the mark on his body (not sure where).

Celestial Warrior - Soi

The only woman warrior among the Seiryuu Seven, Soi was actually captured at a young age and sold into prostitution. She met Nakago when he saved her, and fell in love with him. She has the mark on her left thigh (pic), and has the ability to control thunder and lightning bolts. She is also a master of sexual manipulation, being able to suck people's life force through sex. She uses this ability to give Nakago more life force whenever he needs it (means that they do it a lot). She is very powerful, and tries to destroy the Suzaku Seishi only because Nakago wants her to. If Nakago did not command her to kill, she won't. She secretly envies the love between Tamahome and Miaka, because she had always wanted something like that with Nakago.

Celestial Warrior - Ashitare

Half-man and half-wolf, Ashitare is a brutal killing machine, feeding on human flesh. He was saved from a fighting ring by Nakago, and is very obedient to him like a dog. He is also very very scared of Nakago, because Nakago will whipped him mercilessly if he fails to do what he was told to. Ashitare can smell his enemies from far, and uses this ability to track them down. He also has great strength and is responsible for one of the Suzaku Warriors' death. If Ashitare was killed, he will become a wolf and stay as a wolf until he gets killed again. He bears the mark.

Celestial Warrior - Tomo

Tomo is a freaky guy who wears a funny mask and talks like a gay (he is, I think). But he is rather powerful, being a master of illusions. He can create powerful illusions that can trap his victims and cause them to die slowly and painfully. He is heartless and very cruel, and respects Nakago a lot. Actually if I'm not mistaken, Tomo likes Nakago too. His real face was never revealed, for he died without ever having his mask removed. His mark is .

Celestial Warrior - Miboshi

This guy is all time scary, for he gave up his body long time ago, and is able to possess other people's bodies, especially children. The only way to get rid of him from a body is to kill that person, which is why this guy is scary. He is a powerful sorcerer, where he can cast spells to summon demons from the underworld. Nothing much is known about him... even the picture is not really him, the body was of a child possessed by him. He has the mark.
