Funny Shots from Fushigi Yuugi

One of the main reasons why I LOVE Fushigi Yuugi is because it's VERY funny... So I decided to take some parts from the VCD and put it up here so you'll get what I'm talking about. Pictures may not be very clear and you'll might not get what I mean... so the best way is still to watch it yourself...

"Da.....!!!"

"This job gets pretty lonely and I’m so bored here…"

Chichiri finds out that impersonating Hotohori, the emperor is a tough job...

"He's the Emperor???"

The other newly-found Suzaku Warriors discovering Hotohori's real identity...

Hotohori: "She will finally be with Tamahome again."

"Let's leave them alone..."

Tasuki gets confused...

"What's going on?? I figured you and Miaka were together."

"I get it!!!"

"A love triangle!!"

"BANG!!!"

"SPLAT..."

Nuriko: "I had to do it. He's an insensitive pumpkin..."

Tasuki falls to the ground...

Tasuki getting confused about the relationship between Tamahome, Miaka and Hotohori, before getting a punch from Nuriko for his insensitivity towards Hotohori's feelings...

"It's you. It's really you..."

BANG!!!

Tamahome: "I saw that coming. I did..."

Miaka gets up...

"Miaka, you look like a zombie..."

Miaka gets excited over meeting Tamahome, who has been kidnapped by Kutou agents, through a long-distance 'tele-conference', thanks to the spells cast by Chichiri. Unfortunately, she forgets that there is a see-through screen in between them... and bangs into it... while Tamahome laughs at her...

"Miaka... I can't keep up this spell forever..."

Miaka gives Tamahome a speedy goodbye kiss...

"I can't hold on any longer..!!"

"But it worked. You were able to communicate safely, no da."

"The spell is over. You can...."

"You can........."

Chichiri, unable to keep the 'conference' running anymore, broke the spell... only to find Miaka still kissing her Tamahome (which has been turned back into a screen)...

Tasuki: "I'm coming with you..."

"I want to meet Tamahome and you might need my fire..."

"Wait!! What about this meat pie that I have here??"

"I was going to give it to you, but..."

Miaka: "Take pity on that poor guy... Let's take him with us..."

Chichiri: " Well, sure, if you say so..."

"Yes, it worked!!"

"You can have the meat pie, but not the hands!!!"

Chichiri and Miaka were about to leave for Kutou to save Tamahome when Tasuki decided to follow along. Afraid that the enemy might detect them if there were too many people going along, Miaka declined Tasuki's offer... only to be bribed with a meat pie...

"Chichiri!! Your magic spells are fantastic..."

"You transported us here instantly..."

"But you could have found us a better place to land!!!"

"Now what do we do?"

Tree branch breaks...

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"

Chichiri manages to grab on...

"Well, I'm okay..."

...but Miaka and Tasuki weren't that lucky.

"Well, we're NOT okay..."

Chichiri used his spells to transport them to Kutou, only to find themselves stuck on a tree...!!

Miaka explaining why they need the cat...

"See? Animals can smell better than we can..."

...and Tasuki understands...

"Oh right. I get it..."

Tasuki grabbed the wrong 'cat'...

"Well cat, it's up to you to lead us to them..."

Oooopssss...

Miaka: "I've got the cat..."

Miaka, Tasuki and Chichiri just arrived at Kutou, only to find that Mitsukake's cat has accidentally tagged along. Miaka insisted that the cat was useful... and an impatient Tasuki mistook poor Chichiri as the cat....
