Animal Sign

Characteristics Ideal Partners

THE RAT

Rats can be too critical at times; happy-go-lucky on the outside, but often tense and expecting too much of people. They are popular, with people finding them sociable and fun-loving, but at times they have a selfish streak. Ambitious, creative and good at running their own business - even if they can be over-thrifty at times.

Best friends are other Rats. Most likely to find love with Monkeys, Oxen & Dragons. Have difficulty getting along with Horses and Roosters.

THE OX

Oxen like making lists and planning for the future, but can be too methodical and demanding. Ox parents can drive their children crazy with endless orders, but they are dependable, make ideal leaders and are calm in moments of crisis. Family life for oxen can be rich, warm and rewarding.

Good friends with Snakes, Rats & Roosters. Harder to get along with Goats, Horses, Dragons & Tigers.

THE TIGER [ME!!]

Although undisciplined at times, Tigers can be very lucky in money and love. They have a fiery love life and should not try to play around with people's emotions. They have a forceful approach to work and can be short-tempered when things don't go their way. But they possess leadership quality and dynamic enthusiasm.

Should pair up with a Pig, Dog, Horse or Goat. Don't get along well with Oxen, Snakes and Monkeys. Other Tigers and Dragons cause power struggles.

THE RABBIT

Great organizers, courteous and intelligent, with a preference for the quiet life. Rabbits are honest but tend to be melancholy and too aloof. They attach a great deal of importance to worldly goods and enjoy the comfort it brings. When the going gets tough, they can rally people to their side.

Good relationship with Goats, Oxen, Snakes or Pigs. Fair well with Tigers, Dragons, Monkeys, Dogs, Horses and other Rabbits. Rat and Roosters are too much for them.

THE DRAGON

Dragons are tough, but are real softies when it comes to sentiment. They have a shrewd intuition for spotting trends and the right opening before anyone else. In other words, Dragons are born under an extremely lucky sign, one that symbolizes riches, luck in life and love.

Near perfect relationships with Snakes, Rats, Monkeys or Roosters. Get along well with Rabbits, Pigs, Horses, Goats and other Dragons. Unlikely unions with Tigers, Oxen or Dogs.

THE SNAKE

Snakes can be bad losers when things don't go their way and they tend to depend too heavily on a person or thing to give life a meaning. However, they are philosophical, passionate, possessive and are very successful when it comes to working on their own initiative.

Compatible with Oxen, Roosters and Dragons. Clash with Tigers, Horses, Monkeys and other Snakes.

THE HORSE

Horses are lively, cheerful, popular and natural party-goers. Others can't help but admire them for their charming manners. But they tend to consider small failures as disasters and when flattered, they can become hot-headed. They can handle even the trickiest money matter with great skill.

Best chance of a lasting relationship with a Tiger, Dog or Goat. Should avoid Oxen and Rats.

THE GOAT

A Goat is seldom punctual and rarely puts others' priority first, and this sometimes upset people. But Goats mean well, and often fret that others may not know their true feelings. Something of a dreamer who needs to get organized. They are usually very talented in the arts and work very well with those who can help them to achieve success.

Excellent relationship with anyone who understands the Goat's need for intellectual stimulation, especially for Horses, Rabbits and Tigers. Disastrous with Oxen, Dogs and Rats.

THE MONKEY

Monkeys have a sharp wit and love to amuse. They are also very inventive and ingenious at problem-solving. And when it comes to making money, there is no limit to what they can achieve, provided they concentrate, because they can get easily distracted from the task at hand. Their resilience is the envy of others.

No difficulty getting along with Rats, Dragons, Rabbits and Goats. Does not click with Snakes and Tigers.

THE ROOSTER

Roosters often seem self-assured and attract people who have problems in offloading. Usually they become so involved with other's worries that they forget their own. Perfectionists, and are easily flustered and outspoken almost to a point of being tactless. However, they are good at organizing, and excel in their career or ambition.

An ideal match with Snakes, Oxen and Dragons. Not close with other Roosters, Rabbits, Monkeys and Dogs.

THE DOG

Dogs are loyal and can keep secrets, and enjoy putting others first. But this leaves them very little time to pursue their own ambitions or see what opportunities are under their noses. Prone to mood swings, they are worriers and can be pessimistic without reason. They can also upset others by being overly critical.

Strongly attracted to Horses, Rabbits and Tigers. Doesn't get along with Dragons and Goats.

THE PIG

Pigs are natural intellectuals and enjoy the company of like-minded folk. They are sensitive, sensual people who don't normally enjoy the rougher aspects of life. One fault is their generosity, which some friends take advantage of.

Pigs get along with almost everybody, especially Rabbits, Goats, Tigers and other Pigs. Should avoid contact with Snakes.
