What's
animé, you ask? Animé is from Japan and is actually
animation / cartoon based on mangas (comic) drawn by certain famous
writers (more like illustrator + writer; 2 IN 1 !) Some very fine examples
are Dragon Ball Z, Slam Dunk… I so happen to like two animés. And they
are:
YU
YU HAKUSHO
The creator of YYH is a guy named Yoshihiro Togashi.
I’ve liked this animé since primary school. It’s a very old series,
but the BEST! In Japan, this series was aired from 1993 till 1995. This
series came out around the same time as Dragon Ball Z, but did not last as
long. The manga has 19 books only (Dragon Ball has 42 !!!!) This animé
was so popular it was second in Japan ! (Dragon Ball got No. 1 even though
DBZ is stupid) The animé has 114 episodes, each about 20++
minutes long. I have the whole set of VCDs, but they are all in Japanese
with Chinese subtitles (Sob ! I can’t read Chinese very well) Right now
I am hunting for the English subtitled ones. So if you know anything and
anywhere I can find it… CONTACT ME !!!!!! |
